Fashion week is almost here, Minkettes! Things may be getting a little stressful over here as we prepare for our show on Friday, but we cannot resist getting giddy about the upcoming week. We know all you faithful Minkettes are getting excited as well, so we have compiled a list of the top 5 things to look forward to this fashion week. We hope to see you there!
1. Street Style – With fashion’s biggest stars walking the streets of NYC, our favorite street style photographers are going to be snapping away, and updating us on the coolest new trends to look out for. Editors and bloggers alike are all going to be dressed to impress, and we cannot wait to see their chic outfits on Jak & Jil and The Sartorialist.
2. Pajama Dressing – We want to be comfortable when we are running around during fashion week, so we love that the pajama trend is still going strong. Whether you wear a button down PJ top or silky wide-legged pants, you are bound to be both chic and cozy. Check out the slouchy Rebecca Minkoff Kalahari Pant from our Spring 2012 Collection.
3. The Music – The hottest DJs are going to be spinning during the shows and afterparties, and we are sure the week will be chock-full of live performances from our favorite artists. Last year Charlotte Kemp Muhl and Sean Lennon performed during our Fall 2011 Show, and this year we have Theophilus London!
4. Models Off Duty - We have already started to see models roaming the streets of NYC as they rush off to their castings, and we always get so much inspiration from their cool off-duty style. We cannot wait to spot more of our favorite models during the course of the week.

5. Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2012 Show – Naturally, we are most excited for our own show, which will take place on February 10th at 3 pm. We cannot wait to show you all what we have been working on. Get excited, Minkettes!
